Senior Interface Engineer

As a Senior Interface Engineer, you will part of the Cerner interfaces and data migrations team in Sweden reporting to the regional Interface Architect and supporting interface and data migration design, building and testing for our Cerner Millennium client. During project design phases we will review with client technologies, strategy and message flow to be implemented in order to support the functional workflows designed for the project. During build phases, you will be making the needed configurations in the system according the requirements and scope agreed during the design phase. During the testing and conversion phases you will audit the different transactions interchanged with external systems and troubleshoot the possible issues detected.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in CIS, MIS, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration with emphasis in Information systems or equivalent relevant work experience
• Background or experience working in the Health Care IT industry
• Fluent in English, minimum level C1

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript
• At least 1 year of experience with Linux
• At least 1 year of experience integrating healthcare IT solutions
• Experience with SQL relational databases
• Experience with HealthCare IT Integration Engines in the market such as OpenLink, Mirth Connect, Ensemble, CloverLeaf or Rhapsody
• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards: HL7 2.x/3, DICOM, ASTM and HL7 FHIR
• Knowledge about interoperability technologies such as SOAP, RESTful and XML/HTTP(s) web services as well as international interoperability profiles such as IHE
• At least 2 years of experience working with Cerner Millennium

• Ability to travel up to 50%
