5G SW developer - eNB L2

Position as Embedded Telecom Software consultant, for project R&D work at large reputable client company
Work with feature development of 5G application software for radio base stations for deployment on a multi-standard hardware platform - focus L2/MAC layer. The main duty is development in C and C++ for a real-time embedded multicore system. You will contribute as member in a cross-functional scrum team with great responsibility for the progress and product quality. The work environment is a cooperation between multiple agile teams committing code in a large-scale CI environment to protect legacy code base. With your expertise in 3GPP protocol layer 2 you will guide and mentor more junior team members. From time to time the job also involves test case creation and verification execution although the main duty of this position is software development.

Position Qualifications

MUST:
BSc or MSc level in a Communication Engineering
Very strong Embedded C programmer
7-10 years of experience working with wireless telecom R&D
5 years of experience of software coding in 4G or 5G – L2/MAC
Scrum

MERITORIOUS:
eNB work, but also UE side is good.
Experience in RRC layer
Experience in L1/PHY layer
Java coding
Multicore, multithread on Linux for real-time application.
Python or other scripting languages
