Junior Java-developer to Apsis

OM TJÄNSTEN
Academic Work is looking for two backend developers to Apsis where they face a development phase and will broaden their focus to more parts of data-driven communication. They have recently developed a new business plan and will now develop completely new systems for this. Therefore, they need reinforcement and are now searching for two driven backend developers who want to work in a responsible and self-motivated team. The team that you will be a part of, includes twelve back- and frontend-developers who would love to share best practice with you. They have a strong development focus and work with agile methodologies like Kanban, DevOps and Continuous Integration.

This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work. You will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Apsis. The assignment will be full-time in 6 months. Thereafter, there are very good opportunities for another six months as a consultant via us to subsequently be recruited to Apsis, provided that all parties are satisfied with the cooperation.

As a backend developer, you will work with the development of Apsis new system. The role requires high demands on you to take a lot of responsibility and initiatives as the team is characterized by a strong development drive. If you are interested, there are also good career opportunities at the company. Perhaps you want to specialize in a system? Or work towards an agile scrum master role? This role suits you who are a newly graduated system developer and wants to work with backend development. You have a strong drive and want to learn the modern technologies that Apsis works with, such as AWS, Golang, Kafka, Microservices and Machine Learning. It is important that you enjoy an international environment since many of your colleagues speak English only. We see that you have a strong development focus and are a problem solver who likes challenges.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* Have studied system science or equivalent where courses in distributed systems have been included

* Have good knowledge in Java
* Speaks and writes fluent English since it is an international environment
* Have experienced problems with multi-threaded programming or concurrent problems during training or work

It's a plus if...

* Your education is from a university
* You have run a hobby project (which we would like to see at a later stage of the recruitment process)
* You have been working with open source, Golang, Kafka or Amazon Web Services

In this role, you and your team colleagues are responsible for running projects forward which imposes your cooperation and communication skills. In the beginning, you will get a lot of support from the team manager and colleagues.
