Environment Artist

We are looking for an experienced Environment Artist. We want to hire people who like freedom but also take on the responsibility to deliver quality work - Both when it comes to creativity and quality code. Of course you need to have a passion for games and like to learn new skills, tools and technologies.
Gaming Corps are developing games for several devices such as mobiles, PC and consoles.

Responsibilities:
- Design, model, and texture inspiring high quality 3D game worlds.
- Collaborate with Art and Design leads to create fun, functional, and memorable game worlds and levels.
- Create any aspect of a 3D game environment including high quality modeling, texturing, and lighting of terrain, architecture, world objects and collisions.
- Work with Art Director to combine ideas and methodologies of environment production to create an efficient, streamlined pipeline that other artists can follow.
- Creating and/or importing graybox environments to communicate intention for a space.
-Optimizing content to achieve performance profiles and collaborating with technical artists.

Qualifications:
- 2+ years previous experience in the video game industry.
- A portfolio that demonstrates excellent concept, modeling and texturing.
- Strong lighting skills and experience creating normal maps and applying shaders.
- Above average ability to model, texture, and light 3D environments for a state of the art next-gen games.
- Experience with Maya, Photoshop and ZBrush or Mudbox highly beneficial.
- Have a genuine enthusiasm and interest in video games.

Desirable:
- Excellent understanding of efficient techniques for game production.
- Experienced in Unity and Unreal engines
- Experience using Agile methodologies and continuous integration
