Position description:
A successful candidate should have experience in the following areas:
- Java, J2EE, WebServices (JAX-RS, JAX-WS), EJB, TDD
- JavaScript, TypeScript, Responsive design, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap
- JUnit, Eclipse, git, WLP, API Management (3Scale)
- Maven, Jenkins, VSTS
- SQL Server, Oracle, WAS 8
Qualifying:
Be experienced Java Software developer working according to agile methodology preferable with experience from working with Test driven development and continuous delivery.
Furthermore it's preferable with experience from diagnostic applications, car communication and automotive aftermarket experience.
Description:
The position is within Consumer & Enterprise Digital and a sub unit called Business Applications & Services (BAS). The successful candidate will be part of the TIE product team, TIE One Team.
Today an application called TIE is used as a communication platform.
The TIE application is a static application and the decision have been taken to rebuild it entirely. The new application currently known as TIE (Technical Information Exchange) will not only need to incorporate all the current functionality as well as data but also many new functionalities and capabilities will be added.
The TIE One Team will work agile in 3 weeks sprints with a Product Owner and coached by a Scrum Master.
All TIE development will be done by the team and all team members are to be collocated in Torslanda. We have started a journey towards continuous delivery.
The team will perform application changes (continuous improvements, new features etc) and corrections in the TIE application. The application will consist of micro services based on Java backend and a web application frontend. The plan is to host the application in a container at a cloud platform.
We now need to staff up the TIE team to be able to successfully deliver a stable and high quality application and develop new features.
