We are currently looking to recruit a TCMS (Train Control and Monitoring System) Software System Engineer (m/f) for our site in Vastaras in Sweden.

The Center of Delivery Sweden is responsible for all software projects and build scope, cost & time (in Sweden, the UK, & China).

You will work within the CoD core software and build team providing embedded software services from the various product development teams. Provide a single point of contact in expertise for all functional and technical topics of the TCMS subsystem, by working in the multidisciplinary project team.

Tasks involves automatic building, integration and baseling of software; which are to be tested on functional level by separate test team. Developing automatic test scripts for the integrated software is also part of the role.

YOUR TASKS

Delivery of the project TCMS software and build CI architecture around embedded software (C, Linux), ensuring that it meets the requirements, with updates of documents produced by the architecture team.

Taking part in regular SCRUM and sprint meeting to manage delivery of the SW components needed. Delivery of the TCMS description technical documentation, deployment (download) manual and release notes.

Complete smoke test and integration testing of built software; with the aim of developing automatic test scripts for faster turnaround time at release.

• Engineering Degree, or Master of Science (preferably within system design or software) engineering.
• Embedded software development (ideally C/C++)
• Experience in reading and writing complicated technical manuals
• Linux, CI, Jenkins, vx-works, automatic building/testing would be advantageous.
• Experience with Rational team concert (RTC – IBM would be ideal)
• AGILE, Scrum experience (ideal)
• Experience in delivering on commitments
