Cloud Engineer Developer

Do you want to be a part of our Cloud Journey? H&M’s Infrastructure and Operations Division is looking for a person with excellent knowledge and passion of platform development within Microsoft Azure.

As a Cloud Engineer at H&M you get the opportunity to work in our Cloud Office – supporting the entire H&M Group. The Cloud Engineering team aims to simplify how systems are developed and deployed to production using cloud technologies, automation and DevOps principles.

The person we are looking for will be part of a new central multifunctional team that will establish this capability and way of working at H&M IT. This is an exciting and challenging role where you will be a part of taking the next step for the organization.

You will be a team player in the central DevOps knowledge team, and we think you are an experienced Cloud Engineer that can spread knowledge, take a DevOps perspective to ensure that solutions are both efficient and safe, and implement tools to automate deployment, monitoring and operations.

To be successful in this role you have a genuine interest in the Cloud area and all the opportunities the Cloud has. You have great personal drive, enthusiasm and the ability to not only identify and focus on the most important areas and tasks, but also focus on today’s as well as future problems and opportunities. You will be working in close collaboration with, and spread the cloud knowledge to other teams and division in the H&M group.

Your responsibilities

The job of an Cloud Engineer at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility – and lots of fun!

Your to do-list includes:

- Be an ambassador for our Cloud Journey
- Onboard new systems / applications to our Cloud
- Improve our deployment methods to the Cloud
- Understanding service concepts in the Cloud
- Working with infrastructure as code, CI / CD
- Working alongside the development teams to ship new features / solutions as smooth as possible
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, software, or practices that contribute to overall improvements
- Use, test, update and create documentation for our central automation capabilities

- Understanding of a complex and diverse IT infrastructure
- Experience from working with enterprise solutions
- Have a “Lean startup” way of thinking
- Experience from large transformation projects
- Awareness of market trends, ability to predict future possibilities and challenge
- Several years of experience of global IT-environments
- Experience and understanding of Data Privacy implications on architecture
- Experience of Service delivery and operations from an outsourcing vendor
- Experience and knowledge of ITIL and ITSM is a plus
- Good English and Swedish skills, both written and spoken
