You don’t have to work in a cave. This role is both wide-ranging and narrow, since you support the marketing team and work on your projects at the same time. Obviously, you’re outstanding in Ruby and Ruby on Rails. You are passionate about web development and have experience in distributed systems. You also have some experience with databases, such as SQL or MongoDB and are most likely used to working in Linux and PHP. You may even have tried JavaScript and REST-API’s and GIT. We love working agile and so do you, right? Are you interested in starting with TDD? Great! At Pingdom, you get to participate in the entire development process and your experience from working with distributed systems and software as a service will be deeply appreciated.

You probably have a background as Backend Developer or Full Stack Developer, accustomed to operations and web related development. And you’re definitely the kind of self-motivated person who’s all about the team. No formal education within computer science? We care more about your actual knowledge and the fact that you love what you do. It’s not the years that count – we know that you can have senior skills without being a senior citizen.
