Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Terranet is looking for an experienced embedded software engineer to develop and implement features for connected vehicles and urban mobility. We are a small software company, operating in various industries with a huge growth potential. As a part of the tech team at Terranet you will help build Terranet’s own proprietary solutions and you’ll get to follow the integration process of your work into a variety of software and hardware platforms.

As an embedded software engineer, you will be a member of our embedded core team implementing and porting Terranet’s own proprietary solutions into a variety of hardware and software platforms. You will also be challenged to implement and develop new features as part of your tasks. You will be able to review customers specification, create design from specification requirements and submit to management for approval. Also, you are expected to create test plans for function modules, perform testing, review codes for errors, analyse testing results, validate code and make improvements. You will also be qualified to create basic and detailed design documents and records design and code review action items and concerns.

Key requirements:

Master/Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
6+ years of experience of embedded software development.
Knowledge of the V2X standard, including both DSRC and C-V2X.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of 802.11 software/firmware architecture.
Solid knowledge and understanding of 3GPP, such as release 14 to 16.
Experienced C/C++ programming skills, familiarity with debugging embedded software systems.
Experience with memory constrained Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and concurrent programming.
Demonstrate a strong understanding development processes and agile methodologies.
Demonstrate strong ability to multitask within an environment of rapidly changing priorities.
