We want to hire a Tester to IT Development – Sales

Our IT organization consists of approx. 200 people and you will be part of the IT Development – Sales team.

The team is diverse and dynamic with people of many nationalities and many different roles and responsibilities such as developers, testers, agile coach, product owner and business analyst. You will work in the forefront of technology in close co-operation with developers. Your contributions will have impact on delivery, technical solutions and innovations for the latest mobile services in the market.

We are now looking for a passionate tester who wants to learn new technologies and accept the challenge to take Tre’s systems and services to the next level.

This is what you will do

You will work in an agile development team and as a Tester you are responsible for helping the team to define test plans and test strategies. You will also perform manual system and integration tests in a complex architecture as well as coordinating E2E activities across different teams at IT.

We would also value if you can support the team in building automated regression tests across multiple platforms and continuously suggest and implement quality improvement measures 

We code in Java and other platforms, tools and techniques we use are Git, Jenkins, Gradle and REST to mention a few.

Together in the team and in close partnership with our internal clients we are accountable for finding the best technical solution on the requirements in our prioritized backlog. We are committed to delivering the requirements that create most value, having the client and end-users in focus.

Our way of working is incused by team spirit, no prestige, high ambition and attention to the client. That means that we sometimes help each other out on things outside the individual remit, such as testing new services or facilitating retros.

It would be great if you have experience from or willingness to learn agile development. And here’s the standard bullet list of things that we appreciate if you have worked with…

• Oracle E Business Suite and SQL
• Peoplesoft CRM
• Tibco business works
• Web services (SOAP or REST) and tests of these using Postman or SOAP UI
• Selenium for web application testing
• Java, Git, Stash, Jenkins, Maven, Tomcat, WebLogic and Linux environments
• Jira for demand management, planning and error reporting
