Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter: NaturalCycles is a revolutionary approach to birth control and family planing. Whether you want to stay safe and healthy or whether you want to plan a pregnancy, NaturalCycles is the ideal solution for billions of women. Developed initially by two former physicists, NaturalCycles is clinically tested, used to date by more than 30'000 women and backed by two leading VC firms. We are looking for a head of IT who is passionate about our product, our customers and our vision and works with us to make NaturalCycles a global success. Your tasks: Your tasks include to make sure that our product can scale up to millions of users, while remaining fast, reliable and secure. In addition, you will be responsible for making it compliant with regulations across borders (e.g. data storage of personal health information) and for boosting the security level of our platform. Other tasks include the implementation of tracking and marketing tools (customer support, A/B testing, country-specific price plans,.). You will also participate in building the development team . The job requires to be both strategic, but mainly hands-on in the beginning.

Beskrivning av kvalifikationer: our background: You should have a proven track record of fulfilling this role in at least one previous startup, preferentially from its early stage all the way throughout different growth stages. Alternatively, you should have deep knowledge about the architecture of mobile and web-applications. You should be familiar with working with large data sets. Data analysis skills are a plus. The application currently runs on the Google App Engine (Java). Experience with that plattform is desirable.
