Configuration Manager - IT Development

We want to hire a Configuration Manager to IT Development - Bill-IT 

Our IT organization consists of approx. 200 people and you will be part of the IT Development – Bill-IT  team.  

We are responsible for the development of systems and applications for billing, rating and charging, currently on a transformation journey with Matrixx where we streamline and automate business processes as well as optimize the digital experience. 

The team is diverse and dynamic with people of many nationalities and many different roles and responsibilities such as developers, testers, CM, agile coach, product owner and business analyst. 

This is what you will do 

You will work in an agile development team and as a configuration manager and you will be responsible for CI & CD matters in Linux container development and test environments. You will spend your time fixing issues in the environments by tracking them down to the source and you will release deployments for said environments. 

Matrixx is a cluster of development environments and if we experience issues in one environment it can spill over to other environments which makes this role crucial, complex and highly interesting! 

Together in the team and in close partnership with our internal clients we are accountable for finding the best technical solution on the requirements in our prioritized backlog. We are committed to delivering the requirements that create most value, having the client and end-users in focus. 

Our way of working is incused by team spirit, no prestige, high ambition and attention to the client. That means that we have a T-shaped organization and sometimes help each other out on things outside the individual remit, such as testing new services or facilitating retros. 

This is what you need to succeed 

You should have extensive and relevant experience from working with Linux containers and container technology.  For the CI and CD tasks you need experience of or willingness to learn Ansible, Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Docker, Git & SVN.  

Other relevant skills will be Mongodb, Java, Python, Perl and Shell. 

For monitoring we use Zabixx, Kibana & OpsManager. It would also be great if you have experience from agile development. 

For this role, fluency in English is a requirement.
