We are looking for:
A software developer with a passion for automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment. You will be a key player of the Release Team, someone who can take leadership and contribute to establishing and pursuing visions within the team. Your efforts will contribute to success in the critical areas of increased product status visibility, higher degree of automated test coverage and a more frequent number of releases to the market each year.

You will work with top-rate teams of engineers, designers and product managers, continuing to create the world?s best media asset management system.

Responsibilities and Role Description:

This is a new, full time position, offering excellent opportunities for you to adopt leadership and improve how we build up product confidence, as well as accelerate the number of market releases for our customers. Creating new working methods for the team and developing within your position, your principal tasks will be:

- A member of an agile team
- Work together within the team to continuously implement additional automated test cases and product coverage
- Develop, maintain and improve the existing automation product
- Challenge and improve the automation product
- Create a dashboard-style indicator of status, that non-technical stakeholders can follow
- Provide deployments of new stable builds to users, on a continuous basis
- Continuously improve the release build process
- Improve how release testing is performed within team

Required skills:

Hard skills:
- Excellent knowledge in scripting language, preferable Python
- Excellent knowledge in writing maintainable code
- Excellent knowledge with automation testing
- Good knowledge in software development
- Good knowledge with version control systems, preferable Mercurial
- Good knowledge of working with a continuous integration server, preferable Jenkins
- Experience or good knowledge of simplifying a build process
- Good knowledge of Linux, preferable Red Hat and SUSE-based distributions
- Good knowledge of virtualization management, preferable oVirt

Soft skills:
- A focus on achieving continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Experience of working in an agile environment with agile development methods
- Fluent spoken and written English. This is the official company language, both written and spoken
