Front End Developer and UX Designer

Focus and responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features and maintain current
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability
- Design graphic user interface
- Keep up to date with new developments in relevant design, technology, standards and best practice

Preferred qualifications
- Good experience with HTML5, CSS3
- Good experience with native JavaScript programming
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Comfort working in Chrome Developer Tools or other similar debugging tools
- Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop
- Experience with Responsive and Mobile Design standards implementation
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
