Application Developer

The opportunity
We are looking for two Application Developers to join our team in Gothenburg.

The ESW Configuration and Release team responsibility is to maintain and develop “in-house” developed ESW solutions. The solutions support the ESW release process which enables end-customers in workshops, factories and ESW developers at Volvo Group engineering departments to be able to do the work in the best possible way.

We are on a transformation journey in order to meet coming challenges for ESW within Volvo Group. Our key challenges are continuous delivery with more frequent releases and modernization of the architecture to a more micro service style to support this.

In this role you will be reporting to the manager of ESW Configuration and Release and you will also have a functional leader in your delivery team.

Competencies
Relevant university degree or equivalent
Documented experience as Application Developer working with software development in an agile manner
A good listener and have the ability to develop structures to build effective ways of working
Complete proficiency in English is required. Basic skills in Swedish is preferable
Experience of micro service architecture, cloud hosting and continuous delivery is a merit
Experience of DevOps practices is a merit
Knowledge about automotive domain is a merit
