Do you enjoy working with technologies like .NET Core, Angular and Docker? Do you enjoy collaborating with business stakeholders? Would you enjoy working in a team that develops functionality to meet challenges for embedded software (ESW) within Volvo Group? Are you interested in agile methodologies and DevOps?
We are looking for two Application Developers to join our team in Gothenburg.
The ESW Configuration and Release team responsibility is to maintain and develop “in-house” developed ESW solutions. The solutions support the ESW release process which enables end-customers in workshops, factories and ESW developers at Volvo Group engineering departments to be able to do the work in the best possible way.
We are on a transformation journey in order to meet coming challenges for ESW within Volvo Group. Our key challenges are continuous delivery with more frequent releases and modernization of the architecture to a more micro service style to support this.
What we can offer
We offer the opportunity to work together with highly skilled colleagues in an exciting, global environment which provides opportunities for you to develop both professionally and personally.
You will work in and contribute to an area of development which is growing and continue to increase its importance to the Volvo Group. You will manage both application development as well as managing complex user support cases. Additionally, you will work in close collaboration with various stakeholders and end-users from all Volvo Group brands.
In this role you will be reporting to the manager of ESW Configuration and Release and you will also have a functional leader in your delivery team.
At Volvo Group we are actively working to establish teams that will take maximum advantage of the strengths inherent in differences in knowledge, experience, age, gender, nationality etc.
We look forward to receiving your application as soon as possible.
