Job description

As a DevOps Engineer in Automation, you will develop and manage automation processes and platforms within the ICA Group. We work with leading edge technologies; Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence and ChatBots.

 A regular day at Automation Competence Center involves standups, sprint plans, development working closely with your team and ensuring maintainability of your platforms.

WANTED

We are looking for new team members who have a love for development in an Agile environment with a DevOps setup.

You will be part of our journey to enable ICA as a software company work towards a more Agile approach and move our DevOps culture forward.

The role requires taking responsibility for workflow from design, implementation to maintenance as a part of the Automation Competency Center at ICA.

Devops Engineers will take part in high-level discussions and take part in work which gets into technical detail. Devops here is have a lot of communication and work closely with the business line in driving change. Resulting in efficient and streamlined processes.

Automation: ICA's automation journey is executed in program form. You will be in constant contact with the team who speak both English and Swedish. In your role as a developer you will be involved in many of ICA's large project and activities. There are great opportunities to take lead in parts of the program area.

You will have great opportunity to design the role yourself and influence the work. To succeed, you must be curious, think openly, handle variable workload and have a strong desire to learn new areas quickly.

The Team
Cross-Functional Services (CFS) department is a new function with focus areas in Automation, Integration, DevOps tooling, IoT and Architecture. ICA's end goal is to enable self-services with centralized competence centers and distributed responsibility across our different functions following a federated model. We believe strongly in empowering our employees to drive change leading to new and disruptive technologies utilizing modern tooling which will enable ICA to stay ahead.  Therefore creating new capabilities and value to our customers.

Your background

We enjoy fast learning at work, curious and describe ourselves as achieving, driving – not riding the bus.  We are looking for new team members experienced in agile work and DevOps. You don’t need to be an expert yet but do have ambitions to develop your skills. You have worked in Linux systems and developed in Java-like languages. Finally, it would be nice if you are familiar to JIRA, GIT, Maven etc.
