Senior Java Developer in Karlskrona

In this position you will engage and be part of a team that contributes to an open source database community! This database layer is serving several Ericsson key projects. Our development center is located in Karlskrona, Sweden.

Job description

You will join our open source software development team, contributing with new features and ideas to the community. This database is serving our next generation key products such as Revenue Manager, 5G etc. You will be doing prototypes, demos, analysis, design, implementation, verification and maintenance.

You will be part of our global development organization and interact with peers in different parts of the world

Position Qualifications
•A Master’s or Bachelor´s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science and +5 years of work experiences in software development.
•Deep and documented Java competence, very familiar with industry standard frameworks like JEE, OSGi, etc.
•Competence and experience in building scalable and upgradeable software applications hosted on Linux, using non SQL databases, design high performance multi-threaded solution and distributed systems.
•Knowledge about one track software development using tools like Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Sonar etc. Experience from continuous delivery and deployment environment is meriting.
•Able to present technical details adapted to different audiences.
•Experiences from Lean & Agile principles, and like to work in team environment.
•Desire and ability to lead teams and coach other developers.
•Show inter-personal skills, are flexible and willing to adapt & respond to change.
•Being creative and like to find new ideas and solutions.
•We work in a global environment which means English skills are a must, and a second additional language is meriting.
•It is meriting is you have experiences from multi-cultural and distributed development.
