Data Engineer / Data Warehouse

Nasdaq is now looking for a Data Engineer/Data Warehouse to join our Economic & Statistical Research (ESR) team, the data analytics hub of the exchange. ESR Nordics provide the Nordic & Baltic region with data driven insights to support all business units in key decision making.

ESR Tech is a small team of Data Warehousing / Data Engineering experts working closely with ESR Statistics & Research. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the data storage, business intelligence and analytics industrialization foundation.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage one or more of ER's operating systems or database products
* Work with the full development cycle including requirements, architecture, system integration, data modelling, design, testing including quality assurance.
* Responsible for large data volumes and building solutions to support short turnaround

Education and experience

* Bachelor degree in relevant field
* Several years of experience from Data Warehousing

Who you are

* Knowledge within Microsoft Stack
* Experience with other modern databases (primarily relational) and related technologies such as Redshift and Parquet/Presto is a merit
* Experience productizing R and Python scripts - on MS SQL Server or otherwise is a merit
* Driven and ambitious
* Fluent English language skills
