Tecmika in Sweden is looking for an exceptional embedded software engineer to work in Sweden.

Our consultant pool consists of Swedish and non-Swedish consultants within the fields of embedded systems, test automation and application development. Now we are looking for new candidates to come and work with us as consultants, on-site with our customers in Sweden.

We are looking for a skilled Embedded developer with solid experience in Linux / embedded Linux to come work with us as consultant, on-site with our customers in Sweden. You will work with embedded systems, troubleshooting, debugging, platform integration and product optimization. We appreciate that different individuals have different personality and contribute with different aspects. But everybody will have customer contacts to a certain level and needs to feel comfortable in that role. We are true to our slogan “You will never work alone”, and ability to work smoothly in teams with colleagues, customers, suppliers and other contacts is very important.

Requested competence (please make sure this is documented in your CV):

• Solid experience in embedded software development

• C and/or C++ programming on senior level

• Strong Linux knowledge

• Experience in working with low level systems

• Good English skills

• Connectivity standards like Bluetooth, ZigBee, NFC, LTE and Wi-Fi is meriting

Good to have:

• Experience from DSP

• Experience from connectivity meriting

• Basic understanding of Java and Android is meriting

• Basic understanding of Objective-C and iOS is meriting

• Experience from real time programming

• Open source tools like Git, Gerrit, Jenkins

Start: Q1 2019.

Duration: 12-24 months in site in Sweden, with a high probability for extension.

Extent: Full-time, 40h/week. Paid overtime can be requested by the customer.

Compensation: Negotiable. We offer a competitive salary, primarily in the form of a long-term employment and according to Swedish standards; governmental pension plan, five weeks paid vacation, priority medical care insurance, health care insurance, income level insurance, work liability insurance, language course support, sports activity contribution. Paid transfer to Sweden. When applicable, family members will get permit to live and work in Sweden.

For Schengen-citizens, there is also an option to undertake the assignment as a subcontractor to Tecmika.
