Global Design department is responsible for the industrial design and UX for all products and services, for all brands (i.e. Husqvarna, Gardena, McCulloch, Poulan Pro, Weed Eater, Flymo, Zenoah and Diamant Boart) within the Husqvarna Group. Global design is a core team of 22 people in Charlotte, US and Stockholm, SW.

As a Graphic Designer you will be involved in product development from first concept to manufacturing of all products and brands, always with the end user in mind.
You will have a tight collaboration with UX/UI, Industrial and Surface Designers to to guarantee that we stay true to our brand designs.

Responsibilities:
. Develop graphic design solutions according to respective brand design strategy, UX guideline and Husqvarna product creation process (PCP) as assigned.
. Develop graphic design solutions in 2D/3D according to respective brand design strategy as assigned.
. Maintain product graphic guidelines for designated brands as assigned.
. Maintain all symbols in DAM for the group as assigned.
. Participate in developing ergonomic solutions.
. Focus on visual and tactile quality (FFF)
Key tasks:
. Participate in graphic projects from concept to production.
. Design symbols in 2D/3D for information and warning decals.
. Prepare digital and printed material for internal presentations.
. Prepare all graphic design for Senior Brand Designer review.
. Help prepare graphic samples for internal and external product and line reviews.

Requirements:
. Bachelor/Master degree in Graphic Design or Industrial Design
. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Graphic Designer
. Experience designing brand graphics for 3D products
. Strong computer skills; Adobe CS and other relevant design soft-ware

Desired:
. Experience working with a global brands
. Experience working with packaging,
. Experience in UI/UX experience

As this position requires you to work in a team as well as individually you have to possess good communication and presentation skills in an international environment. Creative thinking, strong organizational skills and ability to run projects efficiently to meet deadlines are highly valued. Fluency in English is crucial since Husqvarna Group /Global design is an international company/department with co-workers from all over the world.
