Front-end Developer

As a front-end developer you will be an important pillar in a small agile team, working in close collaboration with UX/design, product owners, QA and back-end developers. Main tasks include developing and improving our web applications, optimize performance, ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and collaborating with other team members to improve usability in our product.

You will get the opportunity to work with a unique mix of people with different expertise, including leading academic scientists, medical professionals and experienced product developers. All our development is done inhouse, in our modern office located in a beautiful building with great views of the city, only 400 meters from Malmö central station.

We can offer a challenging and fast moving environment with interesting technical problems, where each individual contribution really matters.

It’s important that you are comfortable with web application development, but your general background, attitude and willingness to learn and try new things is more important than experience from specific frameworks and tools. You will need a good understanding of browser testing and debugging and a good understanding of Git, as well as the ability to write well-structured and well-tested code.

However, even more important is your mindset and attitude. It’s very important that you:
- enjoy working in a team
- are keen to share knowledge and discuss ideas and problem solving with your colleagues
- are open to give and receive feedback, as code review is an integral part of our development process
- are curious about new digital technologies
- realize that in order to learn, you will also fail sometimes
