PORTS GROUP IS LOOKING FOR A JAVA DEVELOPER
Ports Groups development department is growing – and we are looking for a new colleague to join our team of highly ambitious individuals. We believe in making the best software in our industry that helps companies manage their intellectual properties as well as helping our co-workers with their daily work. Besides working close with your development team colleagues, you get the chance to work with people that specializes in everything from law to domain names and IT in a fast moving environment where no challenge is to big.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be a part of our extremely important software development team consisting of 7 people (and growing rapidly). The software you will work on manages intellectual assets such as domains and trademarks. It manages backend aspects such as order processing and life cycle (including integrations to more than 30 backend systems, for example Verisign). It also provides a user interface for customers with advanced features.
We work according to agile principles with continuous integration and put high priority on code quality. We use automated testing and peer code reviewing.

YOU ARE
We are looking for a talented individual with a deep interest in programming. We believe that you have university level education in software engineering or similar. You need to have minimum 5 years of work experience in the field.
As a person, it is important that you are a team player who enjoy sharing knowledge with others. You are eager to learn new stuff, willing to take on challenges and have a can-do-attitude. You have good communication skills and collaborate easily with colleagues.
