Your work will be at the core of this, scaling the platform to accommodate millions of users.
As a PHP developer at Studi you will join a tight-knit team of five, and participate all the way from inception and development to release and follow up. Feedback is close at hand, and fast.
Technologies
LAMP stack - PHP 7, Laravel, MySQL, AWS.
About you
You will move fluidly between architecture, API and feature development, refactoring, unit testing, and bug squashing, as well as code reviews and high-level discussions with the team.
You will develop in the classic LAMP stack with the tools and environment of your choice, make those tests turn green, and deploy to AWS several times a week. If you are also inclined to work with operations, there is a generous bonus to participate in our on-call rotation.
We work in an agile environment with retrospectives, prioritization, and dailies. We strive to automate away all the boring stuff, help each other, and always get better. We like clean code, a pragmatic approach, and quick decisions.
- You have a couple of years experience working in PHP and are confident in writing robust code.
- You are familiar with object-oriented programming, key design principles, and patterns like MVC.
- You are familiar with and actively use unit and integration testing.
- You have a good understanding of systems architecture.
- You are fluent in English.
