System Architect

This important position will include the responsibility of choosing the right technology stack and software design by analyzing the business requirements and strategy. For more information about Sodexo BRS global visit sodexobenefits.com and sodexo.com/brs.About the jobYour main responsibilities will include:Create, maintain and improve the technical architecture for existing and future systemsDocument the system design and architectureIntegrate global architecture initiatives and directives into our local architectureAnchor the design and architecture with the IT-teamBeing active in projects as a Senior Java developer / Tech leadWork simultaneously on several projects with varied, multiple deliverables, team members and audiences requiring ongoing prioritization and relationship managementAnticipate, recognize and resolve problemsManage challenging situations and changing priorities effectivelyHelp set and improve IT department processes in regards to developmentStay up to date with current and future technology in relevant fieldWe are looking for someone who have:Minimum 8 years relevant professional experience in Software DevelopmentStrong experience (minimum 5 years) in Java developmentExperience in building business critical applications with high availabilityExperience in building financial / transaction based systemsGood knowledge of continuous code delivery and deployment using DevOPS/CI (Continuous Integration) toolExperience of working in projects involving solution development based on cloud (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), web or mobile application architectureHands-on experience with providing architectural ownership and leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project designs and modelsSolid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as good knowledge of Agile project principles such as SCRUM or other relevant methodology.Experience of web application development and common frontend frameworksDeep understanding of IT-security (certificates, encryption, vulnerabilities etc.)Experience with microservice architectureExtensive knowledge in GIT (we are using Git Lab)Test driven development & automated testingDemonstrated an excellent understanding of technical and commercial constraintsExperience in software development tracking tools such as JIRAExperience in understanding business requirementsDemonstrated ability to manage large technical projectsFacilitate workshops and other collaborative eventsDemonstrated strong English communication skillsPersonalityAbility to prioritize activities and requirements according to business needs or strategic objectivesBe responsible and accountable, inspire teamwork and responsibilityMaintain a positive and success-oriented attitudeCollaborative & easy to work withOpen to share and helpApplicationSend your application letter and CV latest June 29th.
