KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & WORK TASKS
Vaimo is growing and need to expand and reinforce the organization with an experienced PMO Manager to lead and develop Vaimo’s Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO is an international business unit that embraces project managers from Vaimo offices in several countries.
We believe that the ideal candidate has very good leadership skills and high ability to motivate others, paired with analytical and administrative skills. You should also have a high level of energy, enthusiasm and self-motivation. Furthermore you always want to understand the bigger picture of what we are trying to accomplish when managing the company’s project portfolio.
The PMO Manager will be part of Vaimo’s management team.
Location: Stockholm
You will be responsible for
• Set the vision and mission for Vaimo’s PMO and lead towards that vision
• Coach and develop Vaimo’s project managers
• Gathering of project data and production of information for management review
• Coordinate and align activities to ensure all projects are delivered within agreed quality, time and budget
• Developing the project governance framework including processes and tools
• Proactively manage and address risks and issues with impact on the business benefits of the projects
• Managing your own customer facing projects
Desired Skills and Experience
• You are a natural leader that engages and inspires your project managers by identifying clear
goals and being able to work effectively under pressure against set/agreed targets
• Working experience from establishing or developing project management offices is preferred
• Hands-on experience from managing project portfolios to best achieve an organization’s overall goals is preferred
• Experience from working with e-commerce, ERP systems (such as SAP) or CMS is preferred
• High level of IT knowledge
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience with a proven track record of successfully executed projects, having used both agile and waterfall methods
• A project management certificate, PMP or similar, is preferred
• A university degree in computer science, engineering or similar
• Fluent in English, verbal and written
