Graphic Designer to EU-agency

About the position

Perido is looking for a Graphic Designer to one of our clients, an independent and important agency of the European Union. The position is placed at their office which is nicely located just outside of Stockholm city. After an introduction at the agency’s premises the work can proceed mainly from home due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Your daily tasks

In this position you will take on a broad and exciting role that offers an ever-changing workday. You will:

• Contribute to the visual identity by providing high quality layout services and actively create graphical solutions for the various publications
• Develop design proposals for leaflets, posters and brochures and for web-based communication tools (websites, extranet etc.)
• Work closely with the communication team and public health experts to produce infographics and data visualisations
• Support the internal communication team with design material for print and web (intranet) purposes.

Your qualifications

To be successful in this role you have proven experience in graphic design/layout, excellent knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator as well as an excellent understanding of work flows and the production cycle of web-based publications. You have an ability to work under pressure, handle responsibilities and prioritize and plan your work accordingly. Furthermore, we believe that you enjoy building relationships and communicate with team members, colleagues and external resources.

Requirements

• Education at university level or relevant post-secondary education
• Proven experience in graphic design/layout
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Understanding of work flows and the production cycle of print and webbased publications
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written

Contract type and hours

Full time. Start as soon as possible. End 31 of August 2021 with possible extension.
