What’s it about?

The team you will be joining is responsible for our Java Middleware and Linux platform running on our sports betting retail terminals and is also developing services in our back office, which makes this a very cross functional team with focus on HW control and monitoring. Challenges for this team are to keep up with the ever increasing variety of terminal hardware and new customer requirements on terminal functionality. We strive to use the latest frameworks and methods and are constantly adapting our process according to agile principles.

Working in this team involves using tools and technologies like;

• Java, Shell scripts, Phyton
• JUnit, JBehave, Mockito
• Https, Web sockets, REST api
• USB and RS-232 serial protocols
• Jira, Jenkins
• Intellij, Git, Bitbucket

Who are you?

You are an experienced developer with a solid Java background, who are used to work in a Linux environment. You have a curious mindset, take responsibility, are triggered by challenges and love to be part of a team.

• At least a few years of experience working as a Java developer in a team (preferably in a Linux environment)
• You are passionate about development and always eager to learn new things
• Experience writing testable code, unit and integration tests
• Fluency in English
