UX Designer to search engine company

To our customer- one of the most well known companies in the world, we are now looking for a meticulous User Experience Designer with excellent communication skills who can work as part of a cross functional team (designer, product manager and engineer). The position is based in Stockholm starting immediately and runs initially until year end.

About the role

As a UX designer on the Meeting Solutions team you will be passionate about how people collaborate and create together. At this important point in Meet´s development you will be focused on creating the next phase of service and software designs that will evolve how millions of people every day come together to solve the world´s challenges.

System/ service/ feature design, journey mapping, sketching, wireframing, prototyping, high fidelity design, cross discipline awesomeness you know all the things!

You will be joining a friendly and talented team in a safe place to grow. We´re looking for a strong interaction designer who can speak product. You will focus on evolving and inventing new features as part of the team that creates service, software and hardware solutions for the workplace. The designer will work side by side with the Meet PM and ENG team and designers across Meet in Kirkland, New York and Stockholm. They need to build good collaborative relationships within their team and across disciplines. Communicating the user experience at various stages of the design process by using wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and/or high fidelity prototypes Gauging the usability of new and existing products, and making constructive suggestions for change Advocating design excellence by focusing on user needs and design consistency.

This is a consultant assignment starting immediately and will be running until year end.

About you
We are looking for a candidate with the following attributes:

Required qualification:

- BA degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).

Preferred Skills:

-A high degree of craft
-A proactive and intentional creator
-degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS) or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
-High quality industry experience as Interaction designer
-Able to tackle a complex and novel design space with a broad scope.
-Strong system design thinking to create new patterns that solve how people collaborate in real time.
-Strong communication skills
-Familiarity with user research methods or experience working closely with researchers. Strong prototyping skills are a plus
- Bonus: Experience Real Time Communication (RTC) product experience Design for Video Design for Collaboration
