Product Designer

Every year 6 billion SEK of personal accident insurance compensation go unclaimed in Sweden! Why so?One of the main reasons is that going through the insurance claiming process is complicated, which requires time, knowledge, and patience.

With Insurello, there is no need to understand insurance-specific language, be equipped with plenty of time, or have a specific background. We want to help all people claim their accident insurance compensation instantly online and change the insurance landscape for the better. Our vision is to rebalance the power between customers and the insurance companies, enabling fair compensation for all.

THE ROLE
Together with our Design team, you will partner with the Product & Tech teams to explore, tweak and design UIs, making sure our product design is accessible, usable, scalable while pushing our visual standards to a new height. We will surely have a lot of exciting projects, but in the big strokes, the role is about:

- Producing wireframe designs, mock-ups, prototype sketches to illustrate ideas in an iterative design process.
- Creating Visual Design and UI components for systematic re-use (i.e., our Design System).
- Translating ideas, hypotheses and UX concepts into great UIs.
- Enjoying the impact of your work through an esthetically pleasing and intuitively interactive final product. ✨

IS THIS YOU?
- You have a couple of years of experience designing digital apps and systems.
- You are aware of common UI patterns in, e.g., Material Design, responsive web apps and know where to look for further inspiration.
- You are proficient with Figma, Adobe XD or similar.

We also would love if you could describe yourself as:

- Passionate for the details: you care for the design layouts, animations and pixel perfections that create wow feelings for the user while genuinely addressing their needs.

- Structured: you can define and manage the rules of our designs and be systematic in creating our experience across our current and future product lines.

- Curious and eager to learn: you can't help but follow the field to see what others are doing to catch new trends, tools and techniques.

It is extra amazing if you have:
Interest and background in start-ups.
Passion for UX copy.
Experience with product design in the French, Italian or German markets or have otherwise good knowledge about them (especially wonderful if you do).
