Product Designer

At Once Upon, we now have an opening for an experienced product designer to work with UI/UX in one of our brilliant development teams. In this role you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next big feature to tweaking pixels to perfection. Does it sound interesting? Your future team and your role

In the product development area, which you will be part of, we are a total of 25 colleagues with many different competencies and backgrounds. We work in platform independent teams where each team has all the necessary skill sets to take full ownership over its value chain. This means that you will work closely with a product owner, developers, user researchers and UX-writers to explore, innovate and develop new and exciting features together.

Our strategy is to learn from and grow with our users – our Once Uponers. Working with product development at Once Upon means taking a flexible, iterative approach. Instead of trying to get things perfect the first time, we want to test our best hypothesis and let the data guide us in the right direction. What you’ll do:

You will design interfaces for both app and website to ensure an excellent user experience for our Once Uponers and be responsible for improvements of existing features as well as brand new ones. Besides taking full responsibility for UI/interaction design in the value chain you’re working with, you will also be part of a cross-team skill group that provides a consistent and high-end experience throughout all value chains and platforms.

Your background

-
You hold a relevant academic degree, preferably in UX/UI design or similar digital graphical design.

-
You have at least a couple of years experience working with digital product design for web and/or mobile services (app is a plus).

-
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or other modern visual design tools.

Good knowledge in both Swedish and English language.

Practical experience of working in development teams.

Preferably experience from working with tools for agile product development, such as Jira.

Our headquarters are located in Skellefteå, in the North of Sweden. If you don't already live here, we’re always happy to help and welcome new people relocating to our city.
