The Opportunity
In your role as a Data Engineer, you will be an important part of our Data Analytics team in Stockholm, reporting to the Head of Analytics. The overall focus for the role is to develop the current data analytics tech stack. Digital marketing generates a lot of data and your job is to make sure the right data is available to the right person at the right time. If you are successful in this role the rest of Twigeo and our clients will be able to gain more meaningful insights about our growth marketing much easier, which in turn will be integral in the growth of our clients’ businesses.
Areas of work include:
• Building data pipelines and processing systems to extract, transform, load and integrate data from various sources
• Improve scalability and stability of Twigeo’s backend and data sources
• Improve speed and data feeds to our dashboards
You will be part of the Analytics team which consists of 14 people. Your closest colleague will be our two other Data Engineers, who currently own the data pipeline development. Together with the rest of the Analytics team, you’ll build next level analytics in a digital and international environment where knowledge sharing is emphasized and critical thinking is encouraged.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who likes driving development, takes own initiatives and is hands-on. You have a can-do attitude and are a strong self-motivator that jumps in and executes from day one. You also have the ability to listen and the will to communicate and collaborate, and you adapt to changing situations.
Since your main mission is to make Twigeo employees more efficient we are looking for someone who is service minded and triggered by helping others and getting direct feedback from end users.
You have the following technical experience:
• Python - 3+ years of professional experience
• Airflow
• Snowflake
• AWS (or similar cloud service)
• SQL
• Experience with integrations/data harvesting
