Description

The client is looking for a Technical Engineer. As a Technical Engineer at the client, you will play a significant role in implementing observability, automation, integrations, performance, DevOps and a lot more related to high availability and reliability of monitoring services. In doing so, you will partner with the multiple product teams to help establish and drive Observability & Monitoring culture.

Work tasks:

- Collaborate, guide, and educate various Product Teams in achieving end-to-end observability for their services using tools like Splunk Core, Splunk ITSI, Splunk Observability Suite and Dynatrace.
- Consolidate & Publish Observability Best practices.
- Design and Develop Monitoring Data pipelines from different Azure/GCP services & k8s.
- PoC new Observability solutions within Splunk landscape and beyond.

Mandatory competence and experience:

- Minimum 2-4 years as an SRE or Monitoring Engineer or equivalent role with overall 5+ years of experience in hybrid multi-cloud environment.
- Proficiency with developing Monitoring/Observability solution using tools like ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Data Dog, AppDynamics, etc.
- Knowledge about Open Telemetry, APM, Cloud Native Monitoring, CNCF
- Hands on experience in developing, implementing, integrating various alerting, and monitoring tools to create enterprise observability.
- Familiarity with at least one of the cloud computing infrastructure - GCP / Azure / AWS
- Experience with container technologies and microservices architectures including Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred competence and experience:

- Development experience in Python, C#, JS, Java.
- CI/CD automation using either Jenkins, Gerrit, AzureDevops, GitLab, GitActions, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc.
- Be comfortable with conducting Tech-casts and educational sessions for spreading information/knowledge about the team and its capabilities.
