Our Customer Services department is responsible for the Technical Assistance Center (TAC) giving advanced technical support to our end-customers and partners. Infinera's TAC has a very good reputation among our customers for providing accurate and rapid support. We are now expending our group in order to support Infinera's global expansion. Your job will be to provide support for our products.

Brief description of the work tasks:
-Provide advanced technical support for both our management system and our hardware products.
-In cooperation with the customer perform advanced troubleshooting in live networks carrying critical services.
-Support and preform software integration projects.
-Participate in customer meetings, representing the TAC.
-Follow up tickets within Infinera and making sure that the customer experience is kept in focus.
-In according to a set schedule, 24/7 on-call duty.
-Occasional travelling.

Prerequisites are:
-University degree in It/telecommunication or equivalent competence gained through work experience.
-Experience with database management (MySQL and Oracle).
-Experience with telecom networks DWDM, Ethernet, IP and MPLS
-Computer experience, preferably Linux.
-Deep technical interest and service oriented attitude.
-Fluent in English and Swedish, spoken and written. Other languages like French, Spanish and German are beneficial.
-3-5 years experience from work at an operator NOC, system integrator or a telecom equipment vendor.
-Drivers license is preferred.
