UX Product Designer (People Team)

About the role

As a Product Designer, you will have lots of freedom, responsibility, and a unique opportunity to influence the product’s direction and development. You will join a team of 5 product designers constantly focusing on improving our product to create an excellent experience for our clients and end-users.

Right now we are looking to strengthen our ‘Peoples team’ with a new Product Designer. You would be joining an agile, cross-functional, and distributed development team. Developing employee engagement functionality such as news, chat, and Qmail and ensuring effective user management in the Quinyx Manager portal. You will play a key role in product development, focusing on continuously performing user research, interviews, observations, analyzing the finding, and extracting the data to optimize and improve the current product. Our goal is not to add more features but to understand the problem and improve and simplify the solution to create the best user-centric and value-driven product.

What you’ll be doing

- Alongside product managers, planning and conducting product discovery to continuously learn about our clients' and end-users goals & needs.
- Analyzing and documenting research findings to identify insights and enable effective communication with relevant stakeholders and team members.
- Facilitating problem-solving decisions with the value stream team. Discussing opportunities, solutions, and improvements in an agile context.
- Processing ideas from the wireframe stage into a final design, including prototypes and animation.
- Continuing refining our market-leading user experience, contribute to the team by building a consistent and best-in-class UX/UI over all our applications.
- Contributing to improving processes and sharing skills/knowledge within the different teams, you will be part of value stream teams, design teams, and, more globally, be an active part of the Product/RnD department.
- Planning and conducting workshops and presentations with the rest of the organization to enable cross-collaboration and share our discoveries, ways of working, and strategies. Be an excellent communicator, and receive feedback from various stakeholders.
- Be passionate, and seize opportunities in a company that is changing really fast. Be flexible, autonomous, curious, and proactive.

What you’ll bring to the team

- Experience working in UX and design for B2B SaaS applications.
- Experience working with qualitative research, usability evaluation, UX writing, metrics & measurements, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and workshop facilitation.
- Focus on the bigger picture and work hands-on with design tasks at the same time.
- Confidence in taking responsibility for and driving your own initiatives.
- A willingness and curiosity to engage directly with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- A desire to learn a lot every day and question the status quo.
- Experience in the daily use of product design tools such as Figma or similar
- A strong portfolio with some great work and excellent presentation skills.

- Experience with B2B products.
- Come from a large product company.
- Experience building Design systems (not design libraries).
