Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

As an Infrastructure Engineer at Bluestep Bank, you bloom when handling the operation of virtual servers, networks, storage solutions and automation. You will take part in our exciting new phase as we lift our infrastructure to Azure Cloud. We are also liquidating legacy and are focusing on server management, backup, and monitoring. So far on our journey, we have eliminated an ADFS-solution to advantage for Microsoft 365, we have chosen to primarily focus on Intune and Autopilot, and we run our firewall with infrastructure as code in a CI/CD pipeline. Our current focus is to test drive Azure SQL databases with elastic pools.

Who are you? 

We believe that you have experience working in a similar position for over 5 years. You have a background in working with Windows Server and a basic understanding of core components around it like DNS, DHCP and IIS. Working with public cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP) has been a part of your daily life for some time now. We also see that you are comfortable using Active Directory and Azure AD. You’re also likely to be comfortable with monitoring and backup/restore of various services in a cloud environment.

To thrive in the role as an Infrastructure Engineer we believe that you are a good communicator with experince of working in a team, with a diplomatic mindset when working with stakeholders. Your English is fluent, both written and spoken.

Psst, we’re extra interested if you also:

• Are comfortable with both Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft 365
• Have knowledge in Powershell
• Have experience with client management using RMM-tools, GPO etc
• Have done CI/CD pipelines with Bicep or Terraform
