We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer who is passionate about building dynamic, cost-efficient, and reliable cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud applications. You will be responsible for implementing best practices, developing and maintaining technical documentation, and staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies. What you'll do

- Develop scalable and reliable applications on AWS cloud infrastructure

- Engage in every stage of the application lifecycle, starting from conceptualization and design, progressing through development and deployment, and provide ongoing maintenance and support
- Evaluate and select the appropriate AWS services and features to meet application requirements, while considering cost optimization
- Implement cost optimization strategies while maintaining scalability and resiliency of applications
- Monitor the performance of applications in real-time to identify and troubleshoot issues and optimize efficiency
- Identify opportunities for optimization and improvements in application architecture and design, and recommend necessary changes
- Work collaboratively as part of a development team to evaluate and identify optimal AWS solutions for different projects
- Educate teammates on the best practices and implementation of new AWS technologies and initiatives
- Implement security measures to protect data from unauthorized access or use, and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Identify and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues in a timely manner

- AWS Services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: AWS CDK and CloudFormation
- CodePipeline for CI/CD
- CloudWatch for Monitoring and logging
- TypeScript for CDK and .NET/C# for applications
- Docker containers

- Lambdas for serverless applications
- Feature-specific databases such as Aurora or DynamoDB
- Message queues such as SQS and MSK (Kafka)

What we'd like from you

- Strong knowledge of AWS Serverless architecture and services with at least three years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms
- Proficiency in using continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to deploy applications and infrastructure as code
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues in a timely manner
- Working experience with Infrastructure as Code
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and others
- Knowledge and understanding of the six pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts to design, develop, and implement cloud solutions that align with business requirements
- Familiarity with DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code, version control, automated testing, and release management

- C#/.NET and TypeScript working experience
- MSc in Computer Science or equivalent
- AWS Solution Architect certification
