MSAB provides high-quality digital forensic solutions for mobile device examination and analysis, empowering investigations and combatting crime. MSAB is a trusted partner to law enforcement, defense forces, government agencies, and forensic laboratories in democratic countries throughout the world enabling them to investigate crime, gather intelligence, investigate fraud, and fight corruption.

About the roles:

You will work with a highly-skilled, agile team, developing software used by police forces, customs, and digital forensics laboratories worldwide. We work in a .NET environment with tools like git, Jira, and Confluence. This position is in our headquarters HQ in Hornstull, Stockholm, and we have a 50/50 hybrid remote work model.

We are looking for developers to join one of our three teams.

Join our XRY team of highly skilled developers, testers, and UX designers to develop XRY, our forensic data extraction tool used by thousands of law enforcement agencies. As an experienced team player, you should prioritize code robustness, scalability, readability, and testability. You should also keep up with the evolving software engineering industry practices and be comfortable with design principles. This position can be backend or full-stack, with potential for growth beyond C# within the team.

As part of XRY, you will interface in code as well as in person with several teams, working in the software layer where modules from many sources are tied together, to produce a product that is ever-increasingly crucial for law enforcement and to crime victims." - David Persson, Engineering Manager

Join our team XAMN and work together with a highly skilled team to visualize the contents extracted from one or several digital devices. We are constantly working to find better and smarter ways to visualize and analyze large amounts of data, as well as how the data should be presented in the form of reports and presentations to make it easier for the police to find important evidence. We develop in C# and there are always new tasks in the backend as well as in the frontend, which you will solve together with experienced UX designers and dedicated testers.

Our work culture is characterized by openness, and we think it is important to help, learn and share knowledge. We are looking for those of you who have the same mentality.” - Kjell Svedman, Engineering Manager

Join our team XEC which currently consists of four senior developers, as well as testers and a UX designer. We are working with several products, but our main focus is to develop and maintain the Frontline product line, with the Kiosk and Tablet products on the client side and our client management product XEC Director on the server side. Much of the development work is about communication between the client and server sides. As a developer in this team, you will be working on back-end code, communication code, and front-end code for GUIs, on both the client and server sides. We use SQL Server databases on clients and servers, so some SQL experience is necessary. Our GUIs are implemented in WPF.

As a developer in the XEC team, you should be willing to work with code of different styles and ages, and to work broadly with several different products rather than detailing in on a narrow specialty.” - Johan Reuterskiöld, Engineering Manager

We believe that you have:

- Experience as a C#/.NET developer (3-5 years depending on which team).

- Experience in developing Windows desktop applications.

- Fluency in English.

We would love it if you also had:

- Fluency in Swedish.

- Experience working with Git.

- Experience with WPF, MVVM, and event-driven development.

- Development in C++.

What can MSAB offer you?

We can offer you an exciting work environment where innovation paralleled with our customers’ needs are at the heart of everything we do. We feel proud about being a fast-growing international company with more than 20+ nationalities where we make a real difference.
