Tech Lead Programmer

10 Chambers is a fully funded scale-up game studio backed by Tencent and based in the beautiful city of Stockholm, Sweden. We are an ambitious, creative, and collaborative team with a lifelong love for games.

We are continuing the development of our first game GTFO but have now also entered pre-production of our next project, a cooperative heist FPS set in a techno-thriller world. Originated and directed by Ulf Andersson, the creator of Payday.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Tech Lead Programmer who is passionate about games and wants to join us in cooking up the next legendary co-op gaming experience.

As a Tech Lead you will:

· Implement features alongside the rest of the team with a focus on systems and new tech

· Support and guide the programming team regarding technical issues and discuss progress, tackle setbacks, share updates and present features.

· Help define the technical vision of our projects together with the TD/CDO as well as steering the team towards it.

· Focus on technical architecture decisions as well as technical solutions for the programming team

· Mentor and provide best practices and guidelines for the programming team to develop their technical skills.

· Review code and make technical validations when needed

· Assist with the recruitment of programmers together with Team Lead and TD/CDO.

· Sync and align with Team Lead to make sure the team has what they need to work efficiently and achieve quality.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of game programming (C, C++, or C#) experience
• Proficient in software architecture and API design
• Experienced in developing high-performant and concurrent software
• Experienced in profiling and optimization
• Strong collaboration skills
• Great problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Excellent command of English (Swedish is not a requirement)
