Experienced Game Programmer

In order to expand our portfolio and master digital toy distribution channels, we are growing our team in Stockholm and, are seeking an experienced Game Programmer with Unity experience.

As a Game Programmer you will work within one of our small teams, that consists of play designers, artists and programmers, to design and implement code in one of our products throughout its life cycle; from initial concept, prototyping, into the final released version and further updating support. In our teams you all have freedom to create products you love, and a lot of responsibility to create magical experiences for kids all around the world. We have loads of fun doing it!

At Toca Boca, we work in an agile organization, where we constantly improve our working methods, and often change our projects based on the kids tests we perform. All team members make vital contributions to the project and together own the vision. You should enjoy taking ownership of your contribution and be passionate about growing with us as a company.

We're looking for a programmer that:

• Loves toys and games!
• Has minimum 2 years of game programming experience
• Has Mobile Development experience
• Has the ability to identify risks, dependencies, needs, and priorities
• Has great listening skills and isn’t afraid to ask for help
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve under pressure
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Has a good level of the English language; written and spoken

Skills:

• Game development in Unity3D with C#
• Preferred: Mobile development, CG, GLSL
• Plus: Experience in platform development for iOS and/or Android using Java, Obj-C, C, or C++.

The job is full time, and based in Stockholm. We communicate mainly in English.
