Our multicultural work environment at the Järfälla facility hosts around 280 professionals, including operators, technicians, process engineers, development engineers, and software engineers. You will become a part of the test development department where you belong to the software development team.

Arbetsuppgifter:

In this role, you play a crucial part in the product development and manufacturing test systems, focusing on software development to enhance automation and efficiency. You are responsible for the creation of new software application which carry out the testing of optical components.

Your tasks include continuous review, improvement, and formal release of software updates throughout various phases of product development and manufacturing. Ensuring compliance with requirements is a key aspect of this role. Additionally, you are responsible for providing and maintaining documentation for all test software projects.

On a daily basis, you will engage with on-site teams across multiple disciplines, fostering collaboration with Chip Design, Wafer Fabrication, Process Engineering, Operations, Quality and Reliability, and Project Management teams.

Key responsibilities:
• Contribute to the planning, implementation, and delivery of new software tools.
• Develop algorithms to enhance automation and efficiency.
• Continuously review, improve, and formally release software updates.
• Provide and maintain documentation for all test software projects.
• Interact daily with on-site teams across multiple disciplines.
• Participate in ongoing knowledge transfer to other group members.

Utbildning, Erfarenhet och personliga egenskaper:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or another relevant field.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming language such as C#, C++ or Java.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably in Swedish.
• Knowledge in MATLAB or Python is a plus.
• Interest in physics and popular science can make your job more fun!
