At Carla we believe that more people should be able to drive electric. Therefore, we have set out to build the safest, most convenient and transparent way to sell, buy, or lease an electric car. Carla was founded in 2020 in Stockholm, with strong VC backing. Role description

As Carla's Analytics Engineer, you'll focus on building and analyzing dashboards, datasets, and data pipelines crucial for our growth. As a key stakeholder, you'll be the go-to person for insightful decision-making across the company, influencing the evolution of our data platforms and toolsets. Reporting directly to our CPTO, you'll play a vital role in expanding Carla's analytics capabilities.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Take ownership of Carla's data infrastructure and instrument key metrics

- Create, maintain and evolve data pipelines and tooling. We are for example using BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Looker Studio and Fivetran for integrations today

- Help decide what tools we use and how we work to mature our data capabilities across the business

Concrete examples of work tasks:

- Identify and implement improvements in data quality, infrastructure and efficiency, including evaluating the potential integration of tools like DBT, implementing tests, and setting up alerts

- Take ownership of our dashboards, find new opportunities and improvements, respond to needs from the business

- Promote and conduct training sessions for business stakeholders, empowering them to conduct independent analyses using high-quality data

- Collaborate in decision-making processes to select appropriate tools and methodologies, contributing to the overall advancement of data capabilities across the organization

Your qualifications:

For this role, we are looking for someone that is driven by solving business analyses through the use of effective technology. Apart from that, we believe than an ideal candidate has:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in data visualization and creating, maintaining and evolving data pipelines and tools

- Comfortable querying and building new datasets, in particular working with SQL

- Experience with one or several programming languages: JavaScript, Python, Golang

- Masters software engineering fundamentals and best practices

- Good communication skills; able to talk to non-technical business stakeholders as well as participate in tech discussions with the tech team

- Professional level of Swedish (to ease collaboration around the company)

- Academic degree in engineering or equivalent
