About this opportunity

Welcome to the SDT Execution Leadership – Team A team. We add value by striving for actions and utilizing advanced analytics to provide Nordea with insight-driven and value-adding output, for sales, strategic and operational use. As Senior Test Automation Engineer you’ll play a valuable role in supporting Nordea in transforming big and complex data into a structured and usable commodity for insights analysis, reporting, decisions, machine learning, and market automation as already mentioned.

What you’ll be doing:
* Write and execute test automation scripts and drive the issue resolution process
* Design automation modules that can be leveraged across multiple test scripts using Nordea’s automation frameworks
* Define tests scenarios for new and existing features and work in close cooperation with solution architects, developers and business specialists
* Estimate and plan the agile team testing tasks, participate in backlog refinement
* Define quality level for new and existing features
* Prepare test documentation using test management tools and in accordance with Nordea’s Test Strategy guidelines
* Play a big role in migrating existing data solutions to cloud

You’ll join a Data & Analytics ART within consisting of 5 Scrum Teams and 60+ people distributed among locations in India, Poland, Sweden and Denmark. The role is based in Warszawa; Gdańsk; Gdynia; Łódź.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
* Are familiar with and experienced in the areas of data integrations, Data Warehouses and Data Management, and how to perform testing for these
* Are experienced in Cloud concepts and solutions – utilizing Snowflake, dbt, Airflow and AWS
* Must: a good command of Python programming language
* Nice-to-have: ISTQB-TAE certification and experience with Dbt

Your experience and background:
* Have 5+ years of experience in test automation
* Have ability to drive and support QA activities across the delivery team
* Take an independent approach to ongoing project tasks
* Have good communication skills to drive automation focus also among other team members
* Possess relevant Master’s degree
* Are fluent in written and spoken English
