We are now looking for an Internal Application Developer to be a part of our team in Stockholm.
About this opportunity
Welcome to CI/CD Automation. Your role as an Internal Application Developer will revolve around designing and developing internal applications empowering our internal customers to work more efficiently. We are managing Internal Development Platform tools and building Internal Applications Landscape that supports Software Development, DevOps and Operations teams in their interaction with standard Nordea Software Delivery Process. We leverage tools like Kubernetes, Tekton, ArgoCD and Ansible. We build our internal software in diverse stack using ReactJS, NodeJS, Java, Python and Ansible to cover Frontend, Backend, APIs and automation software.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams you'll troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges as well as deliver new software in quest to find ever more optimal solutions.
You will work closely with both operations and development teams as well as our architects, business people and many others in your daily work. You will be taking part in the development of Internal Developer Portal, Platform APIs, Automations as well as other tools.
We have an international team that consists of highly skilled colleagues with diverse backgrounds and we work within hybrid model.
What you’ll be doing:
* Participating in development of cutting-edge Internal Developer Portal built with Spotify Backstage / ReactJS / NodeJS stack
* Participating in development and maintenance of Platform APIs landscape (Java, Python)
* Supporting and developing the CI/CD pipelines towards software developers and business projects (Tekton, Ansible) in our journey to build Platform for standard Technology Stacks in Nordea
* Automating tasks, configuration management to enable consistency, effiency and reduce incidents with minimum time to recover ratio
* Implementing and supporting “Everything as Code” principles in CI/CD Automation (e.g. infrastructure as code, policy as code)

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
* Have experience in Software Developmemt
* Have interest in creating modern Internal Development and Hosting Platform 
* Have knowledge and experience in CI/CD processes and tools (e.g. Kubernetes, Tekton, ArgoCD, Jenkins)
* You can follow strict controlled Change process in the Bank (work with Incidents, Change Management, etc) and Guidelines in software development
* Can deploy and configure service running in Kubernetes
* Are used to proactively seek knowledge, promote collaboration and sparring within a team and across teams
* Are a highly innovative problem solver with strong analytical and customer service abilities
* Show a good reasoning attitude and ability to quickly understand complex application landscapes
* Have good communication skills in English (written and spoken)

Your experience and background:
* Software Development experience with at least one of the following: Java, Python, NodeJS, ReactJS or Ansible
* Have experience in Automation, CI/CD, DevOps, SRE or similar area
* Preferable education level of BSc or MSc degree within IT/Engineering
* Experience in Linux system administration/scripting is a plus (bash/other scripting languages, coreutils, nginx etc.)
* Networking and Containers knowledge will be a plus
* Previous experience with Spotify Backstage is a plus
