We are now looking for an Internal Application Developer to be a part of our team in Stockholm.

About this opportunity
Welcome to CI/CD Automation. Your role as an Internal Application Developer will revolve around designing and developing internal applications empowering our internal customers to work more efficiently. Your primary assignment will be to work together with use building Developer Experience Portal based on Spotify Backstage ReactJS application with NodeJS backend. Collaborating with cross-functional teams you'll troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges as well as deliver new software in quest to find ever more optimal solutions.
We have an international team that consists of highly skilled colleagues with diverse backgrounds and work within hybrid model. You will work closely with both operations and development teams as well as our architects and business personnel and you will be main responsible for creating exquisite User Experience for them by developing User Interface, stylesheet and the look/feel of frontend of our Internal Developer Portal.

What you’ll be doing:
* Participating in development of cutting-edge Internal Developer Portal built with Spotify Backstage / ReactJS / NodeJS stack that interacts with Nordea Software Delivery and Hosting
* Supporting and developing the User Interface for observability and interaction tool to manage Application Lifecycle, CICD process and Hosting Platform used by Software Developers and DevOps teams
* Keeping charge of visual consistency of the platform (e.g. making sure plugins developed by other teams are in line with base design and follow UX good practices)

You’ll join a team with a strong mindset towards enabling high quality customer and user-oriented IT services. The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
* Have experience in Frontend Development with good ReactJS and CSS knowledge and skills
* Have passion in UX design and courage to fight for the best User Experience
* Have a lot of UI design ideas for Internal Developer Portal tools for example CICD pipelines visualization, deployment tool interaction, code quality metrics, application observability, etc.
* Can work with complex, multi themes ReactJS styles system and you can follow Clean Code best practices in that area
* Can collaborate with other developers helping them creating User Interface for features they develop
* Have previous experience with Spotify Backstage is a plus
* Have knowledge of hosting and CICD processes and toolset will be a plus (e.g. Kubernetes, Tekton, ArgoCD, Jenkins) as the application you will be developing will closely interact with Nordea CICD pipelines
* Can follow strict controlled Change process in the Bank (work with Incidents, Change Management, etc) and Guidelines in software development
* Are used to proactively seek knowledge, promote collaboration and sparring within a team and across teams
* Have good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
* Are a highly innovative problem solver with strong analytical and customer service abilities
* Show a good reasoning attitude and ability to quickly understand complex application landscapes

Your experience and background: 
* Experience in UX design and UI development with ReactJS and CSS
* Experience with designing with Figma / Adobe XD
