Business Analyst to big bank in Stockholm!

We are looking for an individual with experience in the finance industry who is ready to take on this exciting position! In this role, you will play a key role in analyzing data to improve the monitoring and identification of suspicious behavior in the financial market in order to prevent financial crimes.

OM TJÄNSTEN
The bank is constantly working to improve integrity and compliance with regulations in financial institutions industry by identifying and preventing various forms of financial crime, including sanctions circumvention, money laundering and terrorist financing.

In this role, you will work on projects aimed at analyzing and preparing big data with the goal of preventing financial crimes. You will be part of an experienced team and have the opportunity to learn and develop by working with colleagues both locally and internationally. This is a long-term assignment through Academic Work with the possibility of direct recruitment by the bank if all parties are satisfied with the cooperation.

Work tasks

* Create high-quality analyses and presentation materials for senior management
* Identify potential improvements/optimizations/automations and implement new solutions
* Analyze big data and apply it for the purpose of crime prevention
* Work as the link between tech and business with the aim of translating requirements to create new solutions

VI SÖKER DIG SOM

* Academic background in quantitative fields such as finance, computer science, or mathematics.
* Proficiency in English excellent knowledge of both spoken and written English.
* At least 1 year of prior experience in data analysis within a big data environment.
* Strong skills in communication and stakeholder management.
* Understanding of agile working practices.
* Good knowledge of Hadoop.
* Proficient in Excel.
* Skilled in Python.
* Competent in SQL.
* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS/Snowflake).
* Swedish citizenship or a valid work permit enabling immediate start in the position.
