The Enterprise Architecture team in Transaction Banking IT, develops architectural solutions across all Enterprise Architecture disciplines, and promotes the value of architecture as well as communicating architectural principles and decisions. We interact closely with all other architecture disciplines in Nordea Group IT.
You will be part of a strong team, working cross border and through an integrated information flow.
The position we offer
As a Chief Expert IT Developer for SDLC you act as a central point of the development and coordinate activities within the software development lifecycle, with main responsibilities:
-Management of test environments, release management and deployment.
-Developing DevOps practices and culture.
-Secure partner's involvement in the development process.
-Set development standards in the development process.
-Give input on the technology strategy for Transaction Banking.
-Evaluate offers and follow development efforts in the area of responsibility.
-Follow Work-in-progress and release content in the area of responsibility.
-Support in Application management especially in aspects of deployment and release management.
-Build resiliency into SDLC to lower number of incidents.
-Follow up on continuous improvement process, and especially on short development cycles to support incidents and problem management and resolution.
-Support and be sparring partner to programme/project managers.
-Assist in transition processes of mature project implementations.
-Be involved in test phases of development activities on demand, especially when it comes to defect management and resolution process.
-Cooperate with the business partners proactively and professionally especially on operational issues.
The qualifications you need
We are working in a dynamic and changing environment and it is important that you are motivated by having many things on your table. You have strong commitment, drive and the ability to find good solutions to accomplish business requirements. The ideal candidate will have large banking organisation experience with a track record of improving SLDC practices and introducing DevOps.
Key competencies for this job are the following:
-You have a relevant academic degree, in IT, Computer Science or Engineering.
-You have experience from Agile development.
-Experience in system development (Front-end and/or mainframe applications).
-Experience in ITSM processes and how devops can be integrated.
-Experience with Docker, Puppet, RedHat VMs, Swagger, Bamboo, Atlassian tools and Apigee.
-Development languages: Java, Python, Node.js, Angular.
-Building Agile release trains.
-Certification in relevant IT Service Management or Development management processes is an asset.
-Experience in working in a multi-provider, and multi-cultural IT sourcing environment is an asset.
-Prior banking or financial services in SDLC for a large organisation.
-Fluent in the English language, both orally and in writing.
You are expected to have coordination and technical skills, combined with experiences from working with IT-related issues close to a business organisation.
