Stockholm Headhunting has been commissioned to find a Lead Front-end developer for Mentimeter.
Mentimeter is a Swedish start-up company established in 2014. Currently they have about 6 million users and their product has customers in 55 different countries. They were ranked as the seventh fastest growing start-up company in Sweden this year and have grand plans for the future. Mentimeter is a global company that is, and strive to remain, a diverse and equal organization. They aim to build a product that will appeal to meeting cultures all around the world.
Mentimeter delivers a product to create interactive, engaging and fun meetings. Their product is used in many of the most demanding businesses in the world (like McKinsey, Uber, Harvard & Ericsson). Mentimeter is a creative and challenging workplace and currently consist of nine employees, including the development team of six technically skilled developers. Mentimeter is located in attractive premises at Birger Jarlsgatan in central Stockholm. They are a growing company and therefore they are looking for a kick-ass Front- end developer for their core team.
In the role as Front-end developer at Mentimeter you will take ownership of Mentimeter Editor, Presentation View and webpage. You will be part of the development and product process. You will take their product to the next level and develop new features and customizations. The role also include to act as lead for the front-end development and mentor new co-workers. This role is a perfect fit for someone who wants to take a more leading role in very successful start-up company. In this role you will have the opportunity and mandate to influent both the product and the company.
We believe that you have a few years of experience as a developer in JavaScript and it is highly preferable if you have a relevant engineering degree. You have a real passion for Front- end development as well as an eye for design and UX. Mentimeter work with ES 6, React, D3, BEM, LESS, Webpack and Web Sockets if you are knowledgeable about those or similar techniques and frameworks that would be advantageous. Personal characteristics such as, responsible, driven and communicative describes you well. You also maintain a product perspective and the ability to manage your own work and partly also lead others. You enjoy working in teams towards common goals and learn together with your colleagues.
