We are building solutions for analyzing online video quality perceived by viewers. Nexeven Sense™ is an online video analytics solution that provides real-time quality monitoring and streaming performance analytics. Nexeven Sense™ is a tool enabling publishers to deliver better viewing experience while reducing their operational costs. To speed up our product development, we need a full-stack Java developer with minimum 3 years of experience in online video industry and IoT to join our small team in Stockholm, Sweden. As a small company, we have a bold product roadmap including machine learning, data analytics and multidimensional performance reporting where you will make a significant impact. In our small team you will work with tools on the edge of technology for both back-end and front-end development. In our team you will work with entrepreneurs and skilled self-learners.
You should be a full-stack Java developer with minimum 3 years of experience in online video industry and IoT, and an expert in both back-end and front-end development.
Technical qualifications (general):
• Agile software development know-how
• Experience in visualizing very large data sets
• Deep knowledge of how to write robust, maintainable applications, and a reasonable understanding of how to build and work with distributed, high-volume backend services
• Experience in identifying, debugging and resolving complex production issues
• Good knowledge of the Atlassian tools (Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira)
Technical qualifications (back-end):
• Good knowledge of multithreading and concurrency with Play framework
• MongoDB
• Expert in Microservices
• Experience with continuous delivery
• Extensive experience with time series database and the InfluxData product suite (InfluxDB, Kapacitor)
• Test Driven Development
• Selenium
Technical qualifications (front-end):
• Great knowledge and experience in AngularJS
• Familiar with Data visualization libraries (AmChart, AmMap, and D3 is a must)
• Experience with Javascript and Coffeescript
• Familiar with JQuery
• Familiar with grunt
• Good at implementing web pages (HTML and CSS)
• Responsive web layout such as bootstrap
• Work experience with Photoshop and other graphic tools
Technical qualifications (user agent):
• Android development
• Adobe Actionscript
