Software Developer in embedded systems - Microwave Radio and Modules

The Job

We are looking for a developer of embedded software for Ericsson world-leading microwave radio products.

As a software developer you will design & maintain microwave radio products, including activities such as requirement analysis, design of embedded software and the integration to microprocessor platform. Also, taking part in the verification and continuous integration of the complete radio-link software will be part of your work. There are also opportunities for customer interaction when introducing new features to bring knowledge to our organization of usage and use cases in live networks.

The work is done in high performing cross functional teams that works with agile methodology from product idea to market release. The team consists of several experienced and skilled designers in radio and software design that together have the full radio design responsibility for MINI-LINK radio products.

Responsibilities & Tasks

Analyze new product features and give design proposals
Develop and test our high-quality products
Write embedded code in C/Ansi-C, build and test your code in the target product
Perform trouble shooting and assist in customer support activities
Work with continuous improvements of our products and development processes
Develop unit test and automatic functional tests to secure quality and function of the code

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements

BSc or MSc level in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology
Preferably 2-4 years of work experience but we are also welcoming newly graduates to apply
Experience in software design primarily in C/Ansi-C
Knowledge of Realtime OS such as Nucleus RTOS, LynxOS or VxWorks
Knowledge of tools for configuration management and version control such as ClearCase, GIT or similar.
Knowledge in scripting with MatLab, Python or similar is a merit.
