• Autonomous development and maintenance of backend- and frontend applications for our SMS messaging business.
• Translation of application storyboards and use cases into functional messaging applications.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Test your development, both automatic (JUnit tests) and manually in pre-production and production environment.
• Help to maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Qualification:
• University degree preferably in Computer Science or System Engineering.
Required competence/experience:
• Good skills in Java (EJB, JavaEE, Web Services, JMS, Servlets, Maven, Spring Boot, etc.)
• Good knowledge of SQL (Oracle and/or MySQL)
• Good knowledge of Web application development
• Fluent proficiency in oral and written English
Good if you also have:
• Knowledge of Linux
• Experience in agile development using Scrum.
• Experience in test driven design using Ant, Junit
• Interest in Design Patterns and the ability to produce robust and maintainable code.
• Experience in .NET C# and AWS
• Experience in Jenkins, Octopus Deploy and Jira
